My Audio Masters
My Recorder: Olympus WS-300, with no external mic.
All my older masters are recorded with this device. Unlesss otherwise noted, I've used the following settings: Stereo High Quality (St HQ), in Dictation (Dict) mode.
All my audios, except where noted, are tracked and labelled by myself.
Credit is not neccessary (in fact, I'd prefer for you to refrain), but I would appreciate it if you'd keep the .txt file with the complete cast info available for other traders further down the line. This file should in most cases include a note to the effect that it was recorded by either Anette or lovemoonyforever, depending on how recent a recording it is.
NOTE: There are no trading restrictions associated with my masters - if someone label them "Not for Trade" or similar, feel free to quote me on this. If you ask me to mark one of your own recordings as NFT, I will respect your decision, but I believe my masters should be available to anyone who's interested in them.

Daniel Bolton apparently made his debut as David Beckham at the matinee (?), so he might have been on for this performance as well.
NOTE: Missing half a minute or so at the beginning, as I suddenly realized that I had forgotten to turn my phone on silent and accidentally turned the recording app off in my efforts to rectify that. Track 1 is the beginning of the opening sequence, ending with "... and why shouldn't it be me?" The rest of the dream is the missing part. UB2 and onwards is included in track 2. Otherwise untracked.

Billy Elliot
London 18 February 2009 Tanner Pflueger (Billy), Kate Graham (Mrs Wilkinson), Lewis Cope (Michael), Craig Gallivan (Tony), Sean Kingsley (Mr Braithwaite), Scarlet Embleton (Debbie)
My program came without a cast list, so this the assumed cast, The children are the only ones I'm positive about. But if I were to list the rest, I would guess:
David Bardsley as Alternate Dad
Ann Emery as Grandma, OR Romy Baskerville as alt. Grandma
Phil Snowden as Alternate George
Possibly Sorelle Marsh as Understudy Dead Mum
...yeah, I sat quite far away from the stage, and am notoriously bad at identifying people by sight.
London 16 July 2009 Matinee Unknown cast
Someone very kindly researched the cast for me. Based on their info:
Ollie Gardner (Billy), George Maycock (Michael), Fleur Houdijk (Debbie)
INCOMPLETE - cuts off before the end of Once We Were Kings, thus missing about 13 minutes altogether (if you count the End Music after the Finale)
London 6 July 2013 Ali Rasul (Billy), Anna-Jane Casey (Mrs. Wilkinson), Deka Walmsley (Dad), Thomas Moore (Michael), Kevin Wathen (Tony), Ann Emery (Grandma), Dayna Dixon (Debbie), Simon Ray Harvey (Mr Braithwaite)
Oslo (Norway) 17 September 2014 - DRESS REHEARSAL Kevin Haugan (Billy), Nils Ole Oftebro (Jackie Elliot), Hilde Lyrån (Mrs. Wilkinson), Benjamin Helstad (Tony), Thomas Kvamme Urnes (Michael), Jan Martin Johnsen (Mr. Braithwaite), Jonas Rønning (George), Charlotte Brænna (Mum)
This is the dress rehearsal of the first ever non-replica production of this musical. No significant mishaps occurred. Very solid production.

Mrs Johnstone), Craig Price (Narrator), Steven Palfreman (Mickey), Richard Reynard (Eddie), Louise Davidson (Mrs. Lyons), Louise Clayton (Linda), Andy Brady (u/s (?) Sammy), Stephen Pallister (Mr. Lyons) *NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE!*
The whole cast impressed me very much, and Vivienne Carlyle was absolutely amazing! Neither she or Andy Brady are the ones listed as understudies in the program, but they both have previous experience in the show, so they might have been brought in for a limited period or something. Still untracked.

This production isn't big with the critics, but I thought it was pretty good. Not my favourite show though. The dialogue is awfully quiet, but the music is quite lovely quality!

Surprisingly enough, this was my best theatre experience this time around! I’m very wary of “going in blind”, not knowing anything about a show other than a brief synopsis, but this time it paid off. The show is, tbh, only so-so, even descending into somewhat offensive territory once or twice, but Darren Bennett was fantastic and overall I had fun:)

Pia's last performance!
A wonderful production in my opinion, but then again, I've never seen Elisabeth before, other than video recordings. The audio quality is good on both recordings, but might be a little bit better the 6th, as I sat further away from the scene then. I only happened to see Pia's last, I had no idea until curtain call (they made an announcement at the beginning, but I don't speak german);) What luck. The audience is naturally more enthusiastic the 6th:) Bruno Grassini was wonderful as Lucheni, and on the 6th he delivered a particularly good rendition of Milch (in my opinion, at least).

Kaptein Sabeltann og Jakten på Den Magiske Diamant (version #3)
Dyreparken i Kristiansand/Kristiansand Zoo
Summer of 2015 Kyrre Haugen Sydness (Kaptein Sabeltann), Håvard Bakke (Langemann), Max August Key Graarud (Pinky), Johanne Regine Svendsberget (Sunniva), Adam Eftevaag (Marco), Robert Skjærstad (Skalken the Cook), Dagfinn Tutturen (Benjamin), Frode Winther (Maga Kahn), Ulrikke Døvigen (Sirikit/"Fatimah"), Kai Kenneth Hanson (Pelle Pirat), Frank Ole Sætrang (Pysa Pirat), Siw Anita Andersen (Malena Pirat)
Norwegian show aimed at children (...), runtime about 1h40m. The exact date of this performance is 11th of July, but the songs at least are pre-recorded. The Captain Sabretooth franchise was a childhood obsession of mine; these new songs aren't nearly as good as the old ones (some of which are still included, such as "Kongen på havet"), but I still enjoyed myself to an embarrassing degree. My torch for Langemann burns undiminished...
Same show was also performed in 2014. This is a reworked version of the 2002/2003 show, which again was a reworked version of the original 1996/1997 show.
A unique original OR a reworked repeat OR an identical repeat of a previous Captain Sabertooth show has been performed every summer since 1990, most of them in Kristiansand Zoo (Asker in 1994/1995).

Recorded from center Mezz, row A. Somewhat echo-y sometimes. The end of One Day More doesn't sound too good. TWO OTHER RECORDINGS OF THIS SHOW EXIST!
London 18 February 2008 Drew Sarich (Valjean), Hans Peter Janessens (Javert), Joanna Ampil (Fantine), Joel Elferink (u/s Marius), Edward Baruwa (Enjolras), Cassandra Compton (Eponine), Claire-Marie Hall (Cosette), Melanie La Barrie (Madame T), Roy Litvin (u/s Thénardier), Richard Woodford (Foreman/Grantaire), Daniel Barber (Gavroche), Shannon Williams (Little Cosette), Danny Burns (Feuilly swing)
Good quality. Roy Litvin is a great Thénardier, and Joel Elferink's performance earned him my love.
London 20 February 2008 Master Drew Sarich (Valjean), Hans Peter Janessens (Javert), Joanna Ampil (Fantine), Gary Watson (Marius), Edward Baruwa (Enjolras), Cassandra Compton (Eponine), Claire-Marie Hall (Cosette), Melanie La Barrie (Madame T), Roy Litvin (u/s Thénardier), Richard Woodford (Foreman/Grantaire), Jonathan Chabala (Gavroche), Adrianna Bertola (Little Cosette)
Good quality, better than the 18th. I'm slightly uncertain when it comes to which of the children were on. Roy Litvin still great, and I do rather love the Marius principal as well.
London 22 February 2008 Highlights Master Drew Sarich (Valjean), Gary Watson (Marius), Claire-Marie Hall (Cosette), Edward Baruwa (Enjolras), Richard Woodford (Grantaire), Bradley White (Gavroche), Joel Elferink (Feuilly), Elliot Harper (Jean Prouvaire), Gareth Nash (Joly)

Thénardier), Richard Woodford (Grantaire), Jonathan Chabala (Gavroche), Shannon Williams (Little Cosette)
Has a better loudhailer than the matinee recording.
This is my favourite production/cast ever, large parts of the cast are very good, though the highlights definitely are David Thaxton and Leanne Dobinson. I'm also pretty sure these two performances are the best I've ever seen from Drew Sarich, and I've liked him since the first time I saw him. Fans of Fantine, beware, Allyson Brown is definitely the weak link in the show, so don't expect much from her. Natalie could easily become the principal, in my opinion.
Bergen (Norway) 11 October 2008 Sigurd Sele (Valjean), Lasse Lindtner (Javert), Elisabeth Morberg (Fantine), Jørgen Olsson (Marius), Tonje Bakken (Eponine), Christine Guldbrandsen (Cosette), Helge Jordal (Thénardier), Wenche Kvamme (Mme. Thénardier), Frode Winther (Enjolras), Bjørn Sothberg (The Bishop), Frode Bjorøy (Grantaire)
Relatively good production, though Fantine, Thénardier and occasionally Javert all are bad singers. I think everyone but Marius and Cosette cracked at least once. You might burst out laughing the first time you hear Enjolras open his mouth, particularly if the first thing you listen to is One Day More:) Translation varies between decent and ridiculous.

- Act 1 only
- Thénardier's microphone does not start working until about two minutes into Master of the House
- Someone appears to forget their line on two different occasions.
- Much better translation. Notable, as this production is the first using a translation to Bokmål as opposed to Nynorsk. Valjean is excellent!

Malmö (Sweden) 26 November 2011 Dan Ekborg (Valjean), Fred Johanson (Javert), Karolin Funke (Fantine), Peter Harryson (Thénardier), Evamaria Björk (alternate Mme T), Philip Kalmelid (Marius), Ida Högberg (Éponine), Mathilda Ahnell (alternate Cosette), Andreas Eldéen (alternate Enjolras), Glenn Daniel Nilsson (Grantaire), David Wangen (Gavroche), Selma Ehlde (Little Cosette)
Recorded from Row 1, therefore the clearer of the two audios. This one also has the better Enjolras (and Grantaire). I just about had a member of the ensemble in my lap during Master of the House and you can hear Cosette very well during One Day More. Enthusiastic audience, "Stars" in particular was well-received. Fred Johanson was a fantastic Javert, Dan Ekborg a horrid Valjean. Thénardier forgot one of his first lines, and I recall Javert forgetting something in Act 1 as well.
London 3 April 2012 David Shannon (Valjean), Hadley Fraser (Javert), Caroline Sheen (Fantine), Craig Mather (Marius), Helen Owen (u/s Éponine), Lisa-Anne Wood (Cosette), Liam Tamne (Enjolras), Cameron Blakely (Thénardier), Katy Secombe (Mme Thénardier), Adam Linstead (Grantaire/Bishop), Tommy Rodger (Gavroche), Christina Fray (Little Cosette)
Note: First performance after David Shannon's return to the show. He sings the same verse twice in "On Parole." Note that this isn't the only recording of this performance in existence (current count seems to be 3), but my recording is slightly better than the one currently up on youtube.
London 4 April 2012 Matinee David Shannon (Valjean), Hadley Fraser (Javert), Caroline Sheen (Fantine), Craig Mather (Marius), Helen Owen/ Lily Frazer (u/s Éponine/ 2nd cover Éponine from "In My Life"), Lisa-Anne Wood (Cosette), Liam Tamne (Enjolras), Cameron Blakely (Thénardier), Leanne Rogers (u/s Mme Thénardier), Adam Linstead (Grantaire/Bishop), Rory McMenamin (Gavroche), Jaime Adler (Little Cosette)
Note: The show was halted in the middle of "In My Life", as Helen Owen was taken ill. Upon resumption, 2nd cover Lily Frazer took over the role of Éponine. As a result, the second act was performed with only a tiny female ensemble available to fill the necessary parts.
London 5 April 2012 David Shannon (Valjean), Hadley Fraser (Javert), Caroline Sheen (Fantine), Craig Mather (Marius), Lily Frazer (2nd cover Éponine), Lisa-Anne Wood (Cosette), Liam Tamne (Enjolras), Cameron Blakely(Thénardier), Katy Secombe (Mme Thénardier), Adam Linstead (Grantaire/Bishop), Rory McMenamin (Gavroche), Jaime Adler (Little Cosette), Emma Westhead (cover Factory Girl)
Note: Due to many absences, tiny female ensemble. This for instance resulted in the "Platoon of sappers (...)" exchange after a slight delay being delivered by a single person rather than two, as is usual (First Attack). Also features what sounded like a few sour notes from the wind instrument section of the orchestra, on several different occasions.
London 7 July 2012 (eve) Gerónimo Rauch (Valjean), Tam Mutu (Javert), Sierra Boggess (Fantine), Jonny Purchase (u/s Marius), Danielle Hope (Éponine), Samantha Dorsey (Cosette), Liam Tamne (Enjolras), Cameron Blakely (Thénardier), Katy Secombe (temp. Mme T), Tommy Rodger (Gavroche), Isabelle Methven (Little Cosette) Adam Linstead (Grantaire)
Aside from Geró's various language flubs thoughout the show, Jonny Purchase also mixed up a couple of lines in Valjean's Confession.

Definitely one of the most realistic takes on Mme Thénardier and Bamatabois I’ve ever encountered, kudos for that! I also thoroughly enjoyed Emilie Fleming’s performance (if only her voice had been slightly stronger, she might have surpassed Leanne Dobinson is my affections) and David Thaxton’s first act.
London 16th of July 2015 Peter Lockyer (Valjean), Jeremy Secomb (Javert), Rachelle Ann Go (Fantine), Phil Daniels (Thénardier), Katy Secombe (Mme T), Rob Houchen (Marius), Carrie Hope Fletcher (Éponine), Zoë Doano (Cosette), Bradley Jaden (Enjolras), Frank Dowdy (Gavroche), Daisy Lee (Little Cosette), Jo Parsons (Grantaire)
- Recorded with my smartphone, this time!
- Swings covered the roles of Courfeyrac, Lesgles & Madame - all swings in the cast listed as on.
- Full cast otherwise confirmed by cast board.
- My phone was set to vibrate, and it went off at the end of "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables".
- Bradley Jaden is fantastic, and Carrie's performance was stronger than I've ever experienced before!

Couldn't locate my recorder in time before leaving home, ended up just using my phone to record the show. Result is probably better anyway. I've slightly adjusted the music cues I use to track this show since last time.
Fantastic production, if you're in the general area I highly recommend it! I'm definitely going back, it's running until the 31st of December. My favourites in the cast are Javert, Marius, Cosette, Enjolras and Thénardier... basically, the whole cast is really good and the vocal power of the ensemble is just incredible!

I adored Jenny Langlo's Cosette, and the student characters were also excellent! Javert was a highlight as well!

Audio has many small disturbances (have been heavily edited by me though), due to a throat infection. The dialogue is rather quiet, but nice enough during songs. I loved Ben Evans as Merry, and Stuart Neal was as great Frodo (not that I have anything to compare with)

Better overall cast, with the notable exception of Giles (he was sweet during "Was ist nur los mit ihm" but deeply annoying in "Die lieben verwandten"). I also seem to recall Pia doing her own thing rather than strictly following the score a couple of times more often here than during the other performance, but I haven't compared the two audios for evidence of this. Valerie's first act seemed vocally weaker here than during the other performance, but she improved later on.
Stuttgart (Germany) 24 June 2012 Evening Valerie Link (Ich), Jan Ammann (Maxim), Pia Douwes (Mrs. Danvers), Kerstin Ibald (Beatrice), Isabel Dörfler (Mrs. van Hopper), Udo Eickelmann (u/s Jack Favell), Gerd Achilles (u/s Frank Crawley), Daniele Nonnis (Ben), Raphael Dörr (u/s Giles/Horridge), Christian Kerkhoff (cover Frith)
Great performance from all three leads, though it in Jan's case might not always come across properly on audio. A bit better in terms of quality, but the difference is usually not all that dramatic.

Percy is wonderful, and so's the League. Marguerite is a talented singer, but not so good an actor. Chauvelin is a great actor, but not so good a singer. Armand is another one who's a better actor than singer. "She was There" and the scenes with the League are some of a highlights on this recording. Some laughter from my neighbour.
Kolbotn (Norway) 17 November 2007
Anders Lyseggen (Percy), Kari-Mette Nordheim (Marguerite), Sven Torneberg (Chauvelin), Terje Moen (Armand), Ingebjørg Haave Jensen (Marie), Linda Kronen Sømme (Suzanne), Hanna Stai Bjåstad (Chloë), Andreas Iversen (Sir Andrew), Jan Egil Braaten (Lord Dewhurst), Bjørn Berensen (Sir Philip Glynde), Simen Solbakken (Sir Galvestion), Rune Solberg (Lord Hastings/St. Cyr), Fredrik Jansen (Lord Bathurst)
This Percy isn't as hilarious as Teigen was, but a decent singer. The League doesn't play off him as well as with Teigen. Marguerite is both a great actress and singer, much "lighter" in tone compared to Torneberg. Se above for Chauvelin and Armand. Percy nearly forgets his lines twice, and Marguerite says some words in the wrong order. Some more talented members of the ensemble this time, among others in the role of Chloë. My neighbours were very giggly, and another rather enthustiastic member of the audience was seated in front of me.

A show put together and performed by most of last years well-received Les Misérables cast, same location.
The actors performed in these roles last year:
Stephen Brandt-Hansen- Valjean
Erik-André Hvidsten- Javert
Jørgen Olsson- Marius
Liv Unni Undall Larsson- Fantine
Ellen Nikolaysen- Madame Thénardier
Reidun Sæther- Cosette
Øyunn Bjørge- Eponine
Songs included: Seasons of Love (x2), Send in the Clowns, When You're Good to Mama, last Night of the World, Heaven on Their Minds, Guldet blev til Sand, Du Måsste Finnas, Anthem, Nothing's Gonna Harm You, A Love Medley, I Dreamed a Dream, Stars, On My Own, Memory in it's original italian, One Day More, plus 4-5 songs unknown to me.
Notes on songs: Erik-André Hvidsten gave an unforgettable performance as Velma Kelly in Chicago (half-naked!), track 9 is two songs from Show Boat sung at the same time, the Love Medley consists of three songs: Love Changes Everything, unknown song from Aspects of Love, and I Don't Know How to Love Him. One Day More is performed without any Thénardier, and with someone from the ensemble singing Enjolras' part. Performed in English, Swedish, Norwegian (all Les Mis) and Italian.
Not my best master, as it is rather quiet, but definitely recommended!
Trondheim (Norway) 7 June 2008
Different from the above performance, this time only Stephen and a few friends attended, and the program mostly showcased him. Heaven on their Minds, West Side Story and a lovely PotO medley were almost the only musical-material, Stephen performed quite a bit of opera (which was lovely)
